Designed around 'International Operational Policing' standards

Research & Development

Daetech work closely with clients and technology partners whilst investing heavily in R&D projects aimed at improving technology and services in the fight against crime and terrorism.

Bespoke retrieval solutions such as the MIDAS DCL are designed around international operational policing requirements for best evidence. MIDAS allows on scene retrieval from analogue and digital CCTV, surveillance and various multimedia systems.

Daetech's software and hardware solutions developed with operational policing  allows non technical officers to view, log and process the multitudes of CCTV formats

Advanced analysis tools from the world renowned Cognitech Inc, integrated into bespoke hardware solutions.

Daetech provide training on all  solutions, software and hardware with tailored courses available on a client by client basis, online, in the UK and around the world.

Maintaining 'Best Evidence' through Innovation and Collaboration

Largest Investigation in UK History

Operation Resolve is one of two criminal investigations ordered following the publication of the Hillsborough Independent Panel’s report in September 2012. The other is an investigation by the Independent Police Complaints Commission (now the Independent Office for Police conduct IOPC). The aim of Operation Resolve was to undertake a thorough investigation into the events leading up to and including the disaster that took place on 15 April 1989 which resulted in the deaths of 96 people and injuries to 730 people at the Leppings Lane end of the football stadium. Operation resolve was also tasked with providing assisstance to Sir John Goldring, The Coroner to the Inquests.

In 2013 Daetech won the contract to supply all the equipment, software, servers, backup and consultation to the AV Team within Operation Investigation. 8 years on Daetech are still supporting the equipment and the team.

Technology Collaboration

A project formed by the governments Center of Applied Science & Technology and ACPO ITS, called One Box was a competition where vehicle manufacturers and technolgy partners were challenged to provide a one box solution for the police force of the future. The one box solution must provide a vehicle with operational tools integrated into the vehicle such as CCTV, Facial Recognition, Digital Evidence Retrieval, advanced mapping. Full suite of communications across various platforms such as Wifi, 4g, 3g and even Satcom.
Daetech as part of a collaboration of technology partners worked with the Specialist Vehicle Department from Vauxhall to produce an advanced integrated police car which in turn won the ACPO ITS competition.
