6 new forensic workstations for indonesia
With over 25 systems already supplied into Indonesia, this month has seen a further 6 of the newest advanced forensic workstations ship to Indonesia.
The latest 2021/2022 forensic workstation has an all new look combined with the latest Cognitech Tri-Suite 64 forensic suite.
The systems will be bolstering Indonesia’s capabilities and will be heading to various locations across the large network of islands.

Vietnam online training
With the ongoing Covid pandemic and with many travel restrictions still in place, Daetech have been running private online classes.
A weeks online class was run with 2 departments within the Vietnamese police covering the portable retrieval solutions, EMS software and an introduction to the forensic software capabilities.

Dyfed Powys updates
Throughout the begining of 2021 Daetech have been traveling around Dyfed Powys updating the DARS Digital CCTV workstations. The systems have been updated to Windows 10 with new versions of EMS and the DMV 3.2.0 software.

Daetech has released the latest version of the DMV software which allows officers to view & capture CCTV and Multimedia evidence. The update includes mp4 capture with both video and sound, bug fixes and more player compatibility.
The new DMV version has started to rollout across forces such as West Mercia Police and Devon & Cornwall police.

DARS LE EMERGENCY UPDATES
Dorset POLICE
Daetech are providing emergency updates for Dorset Police to the 14 DARS systems spread around the force area. The new update will allow officers to convert selected clips from CCTV evidence into an mp4 file format, compatible with force and criminal court playback systems which will reduce the amount of physical contact required that traditional evidence discs brought about, helping to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Indonesian training
Indonesian government took delivery of 4 x MIDAS Solo and 4 X Bespoke Portable facial recognition systems earlier in the year. Daetech provided a weeks onsite training in Jakarta, Indonesia covering the operation of the MIDAS system and Cognitech Tri-Suite.

UPDATE
HILLSBOROUGH INQUESTS
After winning the contract in November 2013 to supply all the equipment for collating, viewing, processing and analysis of all the CCTV, Video and broadcast footage relating to the investigation by the AV team at Operation Resolve, Daetech continue to support Operation Resolve, the police investigation into the Hillsborough Disaster.
Now 8 years on with the inquest concluded and the investigation turning to the upcoming criminal trials the CCTV and multimedia evidence is as crucial as ever.
Daetech continue to provide support to Operation resolves AV team and the vast array of equipment and software. Daetech will continue to provide support, advice and services until the conclusion of the trials.
Daetech also continue to support the IOPC’s continuing concurrent investigation.

8 x bespoke portable systems head to indonesia
Indonesia’s operational capabilities are continually growing. The government procured another four “Off Grid” mobile forensic solutions and a further four with facial recognition and detection. The 2019 bespoke solutions are upgraded versions of the systems previously purchased by the Indonesian government back in 2017.

NEW VERSION OF DMV IN DEVELOPMENT
DMV (Digital Media Viewer) software which is integrated into Daetechs DARS systems has come a long way since 2013 when it was first rolled out across Dorset Police.
Now working in collaboration with West Mercia Police Daetech are bringing some of the biggest feature changes to the DMV with more internal analytics, player compatibility, user login to comply with ISO17025 and mp4 file capture.
